“But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;” Rom 3:21-24 NASB
Righteousness through faith in Jesus is not earned. It is a gift from God to you and me because God knows that we can never be perfect no matter what. He says “There is no-one righteous, not even one”. Observing the laws of Moses has never helped us. It only made us conscious about sins. For this reason, Jesus took our place and put himself through shame and suffering so that we live the life God wants us to live. A life of trust and obedience to God. As children of God, Jesus gave us orders to go into the world and preach this message packed with the power of God for salvation, to all creation so that everyone who believes will also receive this same gift. Let the name of Jesus reach all corners of the world and let us do it with joy, boldness and humility.
